Lori Okun, D.C.
Dr. Lori Okun attended State University of New York @ Albany. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College in December 1987. After graduation, she did vacation relief work until she opened an office in Union City, Georgia in February 1989 with Dr. Louis Okun. Dr. Lori Okun is a full spine practitioner utilizing gentle drop technique and diversified manual technique.

Dr. Louis Okun graduated from Life Chiropractic College in December 1987 after completing his undergraduate work at. Dr. Louis Okun practices full spine with an emphasis on the Pettibon technique.
STAFF INFORMATION
Office Assistant - Cheryl Smith Came to Family Chiropractic in August 2006. Originally from New Orleans, LA, she has been in healthcare since 1985. She graduated from American College 1988 as a Nursing Assistant. After graduation, she immediately started working in the healthcare field. Later, she went to school at Occupational Marketing, Inc. for a Hearing Conservationist and she worked in the Medical Department at Avondale Shipyard in New Orleans, LA as an Occupational Health Technician and Office Clerk from 1994 to 2000. Her strenghts are the elderly for whom she has always had a special place in her heart. She later worked at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles from 2001 to 2006 then moved here to Atlanta in August '06 where she has worked for Family Chiropractic and has been a dedicated and loving person. When you visit Family Chiropractic you will see Cheryl the first time you walk in with a welcome and inviting smile with a pleasant attitude.
Cheryl's hobbies are ALL sports. She played and coached basketball, softball, volleyball and track from 1994-2000 at Martin Luther King Playground where she made coach of the year for her season in 1997.
Cheryl is also our Volunteer Coordinator for Helping Hands Holiday Dinner since 2009 where she coordinated Volunteers for our non-profit organization that we've had since 1990. Cheryl is outgoing, friendly and a definite people person which is her greatest attribute.
Exam Tech - Michelle Morris A Chicago native moved to Atlanta in 2005. As the Exam Tech, she will be performing you consultations, exams, x-rays and therapies. Feel free to ask her any questions you may have. She will always greet you with a smile.
Insurance Specialist - Rejina Hendricksen Has worked in the chiropractic field since she was 16. She has always held chiropractic dear to her heart and dreamt about becoming a chiropractor one day. In 1996, she moved from her small hometown in New Jersey to Marietta, Georgia to attend Life College, School of Chiropractic. She graduated with honors in 1999.
As life proves to have its twists and turns, Dr. Hendricksen was hit by a car in her own office while she was caring for a patient. She feels ever so blessed to have the opportunity at Family Chiropractic to continue in the chiropractic profession, but just a little more behind the scenes!

When Rejina isn't at the office working on insurance, she is enjoying her husband, two sons and two cats. She loves going on vacations, reading, exercising on her Wii or on her bike, and relaxing.
